Lucas Allen Nay June 19, 1996 - April 20, 2024

Lucas Allen Nay passed away April 20, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lucas was born to Samuel Kelly and Carolyn Gentry Nay on June 19, 1996, in Payson, Utah where he was raised. He graduated from Landmark High School in Spanish Fork, Utah with the class of 2014.

 

Lucas worked as a server at various establishments for many years. He managed the St. George, Utah Sonic Drive-In, and most recently was a server and a manager at Denny’s. He was interested in cars and enjoyed attending car shows. He especially liked ’64 Chevy pickups.

 

He is survived by his father, Samuel Kelly Nay, Payson, Utah, brother, Ethan Hugh Nay, Payson, Utah, sister, Patricia (Julio) Lea Garcia and their two sons, Daniel Dockery, and Cesar Cervantes Garcia, Reno, Nevada, and grandfather, Theron H. Nay, Spanish Fork, Utah. Lucas was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Gentry Nay, grandparents, Donnell Hugh and Barbara Durst Gentry, and grandmother, Ilene Davis Nay.

 

A celebration of life to honor Lucas will be held at a later date.

    Im so sorry i miss lucas very much when I received the text telling me that lucas passed away i feel.in tears..
    Lucas and i become close friends at first step attending classes and groups together along with outings..
    I cant believe lucas is gone we just talked he told me he saved some money and wanted him and i to go this weekend and look at motorcycles for him to buy so him and i could ride and travel togther getting wind therapy away to find calmness through motorcycle riding I have been calling him along with texting trying to find out when he wanted to start the search for his motorcycle and no answer thinking he was only busy at work and he would call me when he could, when had gotten the text from a close friend telling me lucas has passed i knew then why he wasn’t able to call me…
    Lucas passing has left a void in my heart and life i do miss him very much..
    Lucas im sorry for what happened there will be questions and wonders how and why but we all know the power of this fatal disease were fighting..
    Untill our paths meet again in heaven in my heart I will miss you deeply brother…
