Lily Ann Conroy was born on April 18, 2005 in Monterey, California. Living with a mother that was a trained marine biologist meant that she spent much of her early years scouring the tidepools for sea critters. It should be no surprise some of her first words were “keyhole limpet” and “isopod”. She was always advanced for her age and quickly rose to prominence in the local kindergarten when she recited her now famous poem about sasquatches entitled “Elusive”.
Due to Lily’s concern over the political climate in California, she moved with her family to Springville, Utah in 2012 at the age of 7. She loved having so many kids her age in the neighborhood and quickly made great friends. She became famous in the Hobble Creek 12th Ward for her epic all-nighters at girls’ camp and for her homemade shorts that she wore with pride. She began playing volleyball and softball and was well known for her powerful serve, her strong arm and her inspirational dances.
Lily lived her life to the fullest and tried to take advantage of every second she had. Unfortunately, that required her parents to invest in a home alarm system, security cameras and other measures to monitor her comings and goings. Amazingly, she was still able to avoid detection on many occasions. Making memories at all costs!
Most of her life revolved around music. She could recite song lyrics from thousands of songs from every genre imaginable. She loved wearing band tee shirts, however, unlike most kids these days, she actually knew the songs from the bands she was wearing. She made great memories at many concerts and cried at almost every one of them. She just recently bought a drum set and was determined to learn. If she connected with you over music, you’d be her friend for life.
For the last two years she worked at Magleby’s restaurant where she became part of the family and learned the value of hard work. She also took advantage of the employee family discount whenever one of her many “uncles” or “cousins” came in to eat. We are happy to see that Magleby’s is still in business despite all the free cakes she lovingly gave away.
Lily was so full of confidence. How else could you explain her grandma sweaters, giant army boots or her crazy skeleton earrings that she often wore? She lived how she wanted with no inhibitions. Her outward beauty was only matched by her completely authentic personality and her unique sense of humor.
Lily was larger than life and drew everyone into the party with her. She loved her friends and had personal relationships with each one of them. She loved to lift and compliment others. She also loved spending time with her sisters. They enjoyed going on long drives together and exploring new places. We apologize to any victims of their possible trespass.
Lily was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was valiant in testimony and not afraid to bear witness of the truth. One of her greatest gifts was her Christ-like ability to connect with people on an individual basis. Like her Savior, she listened with compassion, loved without judgement, and gave selflessly to any one in need. Numerous people have commented on how she was the only person that ever truly understood them.
The impact that Lily had on the world is evident by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support her family has received in this difficult time. Let us all live as Lily lived, loving, caring and sharing with others.
Lily is survived by her moderately attractive father Sean, her angel-eyed mother Brenna, her beauty queen sisters Daisy and Holly, and her stud dog Fozzie.

May 24, 2022 at 3:46 pmI babysat Lily when she was young. I remember Brenna driving me home after babysitting and ‘Hey Soul Sister’ came on the radio. Lily belted every word. It was pure joy.
I haven’t seen Lily since but I’m sure she spread sunshine her whole life, and I know she’ll keep shining on those she loves.

May 24, 2022 at 4:06 pmLily was one of my little sunbeams in Monterey. I remember one Sunday she drove us crazy by singing “Nugget” instead of the words to the primary songs! “Nugget oh nugget” for “do as I’m doing” particularly sticks in my mind.
I was so heartbroken for you all when I heard the news.

May 25, 2022 at 10:07 pmMy sincerest heartfelt condolences go to the Conroy family during this very difficult time. I never knew Lily or any of her family, but I do understand the pangs of loss when it comes to someone close. May the angels of heaven and the love of our sweet Savior Jesus Christ wrap his tender, loving arms around your family and bring sweet peace to you all during your grief. Lily seams like such a gifted, loving, and just all around genuine person and I am sure she will be deeply missed. May her loving spirit be permitted to bring you comfort and a gentle reminder of her love for you in times of need such as now. All the best to your family.
