Virginia (Virg) Evans, returned home to her Heavenly Father, surrounded by her loving family on April 26, 2019. She was born on January 2, 1921 in Salem, Utah to Frank Merrin and Beatrice (Cloward) Davis.
She is survived by daughter Kay Peterson Hemmert and daughter-in-law Linda Lake Peterson, 9 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 19 great, great grandchildren. Waiting for her to begin their eternal life together, her loving husband Doyle H. Peterson, daughter Karen Peterson, son Phillip Peterson, brother Lawrence Davis, granddaughter Natalie Peterson, 3 great grandchildren, spouse(s) Clarence Westring and Don Evans.
At age 98, she had lived a life full of love, happiness, adventure and service. She married Doyle Peterson on September 5, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints until her passing.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 3rd at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Services will be held Saturday May 4th at 11:00 am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 310 East Center St., Spanish Fork, Utah. A brief viewing will be held from 10:00-10:45 am, prior to the services.
