Tyson D Taylor May 31, 1984 - September 22, 2025

Tyson D. Taylor, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on September 22, 2025, in Genola, Utah, at the age of 41. Born on May 31, 1984, in Payson, Utah, Tyson was the son of Kevin V. Taylor and Lucinda Thomas. He grew up surrounded by the beauty of Utah, calling Santaquin, Nephi, Genola, and Salem his hometowns.
Tyson graduated from Payson High School and went on to build a life rooted in hard work, love, and laughter. He married his high school sweetheart, Kristy, on April 16, 2004, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together, they raised three sons—Carson, Jaxon, and Jordan—who were the center of Tyson’s world.
A master of his craft, Tyson worked as a plumber for 23 years and proudly owned TKB Plumbing for the last 9. He could fix or repair anything, and he found immense joy in teaching his boys those same skills. Whether it was a leaky faucet or a broken bike, Tyson approached every task with patience and pride.
Outside of work, Tyson was a man of many passions. He loved sharing campfire stories while camping, fishing with his boys, hitting the golf course, and riding dirt bikes with his brothers. But his favorite place of all was the beach—feet in the sand, Bob Marley playing, and soaking in the sun while making memories with his kids.
Tyson’s greatest joy came from the simple moments spent with family. He had a magnetic smile and a natural charm that lit up every room. His presence was comforting, his laughter contagious, and his heart endlessly generous. He made everyone feel seen, heard, and loved.
He was most proud of being a father to his three boys, whose lives and interests filled him with endless joy. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines, listening to their stories, or sharing in their passions, he celebrated each of them for exactly who they were. He encouraged their unique paths — supporting their adventures, their talents, and their dreams — and found his greatest happiness in watching them grow. His love for his sons was steady and unconditional, and he leaves behind a legacy of devotion, laughter, and countless memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
He is survived by his loving wife Kristy; his sons Carson, Jaxon, and Jordan; his parents Kevin (Annette) Taylor and Lucinda Thomas; and his siblings Wesley (Chelsie) Bergera, Bryant (Brittany) Taylor, Aubrey Reid, Preston Taylor, and Kevin (Torie) Jacobsen. Tyson also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who adored him deeply.
Tyson’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered always.
A visitation will be held in Tyson’s honor on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home located at 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. An additional visitation will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1129 South 250 West in Salem, Utah. Funeral services will immediately follow, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
