It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tyson D. Peterson, who left us far too soon on May 25, 2024, at the age of 37. Born in Payson, UT, on March 28, 1987, Tyson was an ambitious soul with a funny bone and an indomitable spirit of resilience.
Tyson was a man of many talents, a true jack of all trades. His professional journey saw him excel as a mechanic, machinist, technician, and carpenter. There was no challenge too big or task too small for Tyson. He tackled everything with a contagious enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. Away from work, Tyson was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed knife making, hunting, and fishing. You could often find him tinkering in the garage, out camping, or roughhousing with the kids. Tyson was a kid at heart, and his lively spirit brought joy to everyone around him. He was a beacon of fun, laughter, and love, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
Tyson is survived by his loving family: his father, Rick Peterson; his mother, Annette Peterson; his devoted wife, Nichole Peterson, whom he married on July 11, 2014; their son, Trayden Peterson, brother Weston (Adrian) Peterson, sister Kaitlyn (Jesse) Snyder, brother Hayden (Keisha) Peterson, 6 niece’s and 6 nephew’s. Tyson’s memory will live on in their hearts, and he will forever remain a source of strength and inspiration to them.
Tyson’s life will be celebrated at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah, 84660. The visitation will be on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 6:00 pm MDT, and Friday, May 31, 2024, at 9:45 am MDT. The funeral service will follow on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 11:00 am MDT.
As we remember Tyson, we invite you to share your memories and upload photos of him on the memorial page. Your stories and pictures will help us all to celebrate this remarkable man who touched so many lives. Tyson Peterson, your spirit will forever be with us.
