On January 6, 2021, in Mapleton, Utah, our beloved husband, father, brother, and son, Trent B. Allgood, aged 58, peacefully crossed to the other side of the veil. Trent was born on May 13, 1962, to Buddy K. and Reta C. Allgood in Saint Anthony, Idaho. He attended school at South Fremont High in Saint Anthony, where he enjoyed playing football and wrestling, graduating in 1980. Trent then attended Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho) and then transferred to Idaho State University, where he received his Associate’s degree.
Trent’s greatest joy came in meeting his eternal companion, Kimberly J. Henrichs, in 1988. They were married September 23, 1989; and, sealed for time and all eternity in the Boise, Idaho Temple one year later. Trent and Kim raised two boys, Devon Lynn Allgood and Chase Alexander Allgood. Trent is remembered by his sons as a strong, kind, and loving father who truly exemplified what it means to be a good man. Trent was also a loving grandfather to one grandson.
For twenty-nine years, Trent worked at Micron Technology, where he earned the Impact Award in 2016.
Trent was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which he served faithfully for many years.
Trent enjoyed the outdoors; he was an avid hunter and fisherman. However, most of all, Trent loved to be with his family.
After many long years of pain, Trent is finally at peace, joining with many family members who have long since passed.
A private graveside service will be held for close family members at the Mapleton Cemetery on January 9, 2021. The services will be live-streamed on Walker Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
