Todd William Graham was born on September 17, 1972, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Gary Morris Graham and Irene Janet Seiter. He grew up in Fairview, Pennsylvania on four acres with his two brothers and four sisters. He spent most of his childhood outdoors and loved to play in the small creek, build forts in the woods, pick wild berries, sled, shoot his BB gun, fish, and camp. He was taught the importance of hard work by helping with the family’s large garden and many other chores. Todd’s first job was at a local farm with a fruit and vegetable stand.
The family moved back to Fort Wayne, Indiana during Todd’s freshman year of high school. He was not happy about moving or living in a subdivision, but he met a good friend on his first day of school and ended up really enjoying his high school years. Todd was part of the stage crew for show choir and also kept the stat books for both the baseball and basketball teams. He graduated as salutatorian and spoke at his high school graduation. During high school, Todd worked framing homes. He made cartons at Edy’s Ice Cream for the two summers following high school graduation.
Todd attended Brigham Young University and made many lifelong friends. He earned a degree in Statistics. Later, he also earned an MBA through the University of Utah, though his loyalty was always to the BYU Cougars.
After his freshman year at BYU, Todd was called to serve in the California Fresno Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was unable to serve the full two years due to back problems, but his testimony of the Savior never wavered.
Todd met his wife, Beth LaNae Ireland, in a BYU Spanish class. They both took Intensive Spanish, which was eleven credits and met twenty hours a week. Todd and Beth became good friends during class and went on a few dates during the semester. The class culminated with a trip to Mexico, and they’ve been in love ever since. Todd and Beth were married on May 13, 1995, in the Denver Colorado Temple. In 1997, they bought their first home in Payson. They then moved to their Spanish Fork home in 2001, which was a wonderful place to raise their family.
Todd began working part-time in maintenance at US Synthetic. Upon his college graduation, US Synthetic gave him a job offer. Todd continued to work there for the next 28 years and held several positions. His last position was as the IT Director. In 2021, Todd switched to working as a part-time consultant for US Synthetic and did that for an additional four years. Also in 2021, Todd went from working part-time to working full-time as the Family Office Manager for the Hill family. Todd especially loved working for the Hill family but continued to be grateful for the wonderful friendships at US Synthetic. Throughout Todd’s life, he was always offered job opportunities and never had a single job interview.
As much as Todd liked his work, he loved his family more. Todd and Beth have six children—Jared, Amanda, Megan, Ethan, Joshua, and Rebecca. Whether it was something simple like making chairs or pencils move like magic to make his kids laugh, driving around a campsite to find cell service so his sons could watch the final minutes of a close game, or dropping what he was doing to build his daughters a doll bunk bed from the wood he had planned to use for a chicken coop, Todd was always a good dad. Todd made their subdivision yard a mini farm with a vegetable garden, fruit trees, berries, chickens, and bees so the children would learn to be good workers. Todd had a goal of teaching his children how to work hard, budget money wisely, serve others, keep a sense of humor, and develop a testimony. As good of a dad as Todd was, he was an even better husband. Todd always made Beth his priority and loved her unconditionally.
Todd loved serving in his church callings over the years, from Primary pianist to bishopric counselor. He especially loved his 7 years as the ward clerk and then his 11.5 years as the stake clerk. Except for the time Todd served as a bishopric counselor, he never had an official youth calling. However, Todd still went on all the young men and young women camps. His children and the other youth were always blessed by having Todd as a camp leader. Todd also loved his service in the temple alongside his wife. Todd has a strong testimony of Jesus Christ, temple covenants, and eternal families.
Todd was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in November 2024. This debilitating disease progressed quickly, but Todd did his best to keep a positive attitude. He focused on things he could do to still take care of his family once he was gone.
Todd passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 53. He is survived by his wife, Beth, as well as his children—Jared, Amanda (Alex), Megan (Gabe), Ethan (Whitney), Joshua, and Rebecca. He is also survived by his mother, Irene, and siblings—Kevin, Greg, Nicole, Sarah, Heather, and Wendy. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary. All who know him will miss his quick wit, dependability, wisdom, and integrity. We find comfort in knowing Todd lives on through the memories we made, the lessons he taught, and that we will be with him again someday.
ALS United Rocky Mountain was an invaluable resource to the Graham family by providing information, equipment, supplies, and support. If you would like to help other ALS families, donations can be made at https://alsrockymountain.org/
