Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Tim (Arlyn Francis) Anderson, 83, of Lake Shore passed away on February 13, 2021.
Tim’s wife, children, and grandchildren were the love and light of his life. He was so proud of them! He loved spending time outdoors farming with his brothers, side-by-side riding with family and friends, camping, working on projects, and spending time with family. Tim graduated from Spanish Fork High School, served in the National Guard, and had 51 years of service in the Operating Engineers as a heavy equipment operator. He had a gift for farming, creative problem solving, mechanizing, and tinkering. Tim was a lifelong Jazz fan. He loved tractors, gardening, reading, collecting antiques, chocolate, playing with grandkids, and “shooting the bull” with his brothers and neighbors. He was the epitome of “Always Stay Humble and Kind.”
Spending quality time and keeping family close was a top priority for Tim. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 56 years Jayne (Curtis), two daughters RaShel (Trent) Shepherd and Anisa (Aaron) Ewell, and son Brandon (Suanne) Anderson. He also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren, and three brothers, Hal (Setta) Anderson, Joe (Barbara) Anderson, JIm (Diane) Anderson, one sister Geneal (Paul R) Dart. He was preceded in death by his son Jeremy Anderson, parents John V and Rosie (Gem) Anderson, brothers Darrell (Karen) Anderson, Gary (LInda) Anderson, and sister Christy (Paul) Cherrington. We can only imagine his happy reunion in heaven with his son Jeremy and his loved ones.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 9:30-10:45 am at the Lake Shore church building (5916 South 3200 West Lake Shore). Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am for close family and friends.

February 19, 2021 at 5:38 pmI cannot imagine the sorrow and emptiness you must be experiencing after spending a lifetime with this quiet and gentle man who left his stamp of goodness and gentle smile with all of us who knew him. The legacy he left is your extraordinary family, the love you have for one another and the knowledge that he left this world a better place because of his being here.
I am truly saddened by all of your loss, but I will be able to see his smiling face in all of you. May God grant all of you peace in this time of sorrow

February 20, 2021 at 2:27 amOver the last week I have spent time thinking about my Uncle Tim and how he has influenced my life. Out of all of the people I know or have known I think my Uncle Tim may be the hardest working. There have been many times when I have been attempting a car repair or some other garage project when I get stuck. I always think, my Uncle Tim would know how to fix this and almost certainly has the right tool for the job. And if I had asked for his help, I know he would have helped without hesitation. I will always remember the hunting trips and the time spent working on the farm. I am grateful for his example of service and sacrifice and the influence he has had on my life.
