Taska Darlene Rewis August 19, 1942 - January 1, 2026

Taska Darlene Rewis, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, entered into eternal rest surrounded by love, on January 1, 2026. Born on August 19, 1942, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Taska’s life was defined by her boundless love and generosity. She married the love of her life, Burton Rewis, and together they built a beautiful family, raising their children Kim, Dawn, Ronny, Becky, and Noah. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the kind of love that made everyone feel welcome.

Throughout her life, Taska worked diligently, working in hospitality management, and sharing her entrepreneurial spirit through selling Avon. She was also a proud member of the Moose Club, where she found joy in community and fellowship. Her greatest passion, however, was giving to others. Taska opened her heart and home as a foster parent, loving each child as if they were her own, a devotion she carried faithfully until her final days. She adored her pets, who brought her comfort and companionship, and she lived her life as a strong believer in Christ, finding strength and peace in her faith. Taska’s legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and unwavering devotion to family and community.

She now rejoices in Heaven, reunited with Big Mama, her beloved husband Berton, her siblings, and several grandchildren who passed before her. Taska is survived by her children, sibling and cousins, as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward her memory and the lessons of love she instilled. Her life was a testament to kindness, faith, and family. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
