Tamara Kay Wasden passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 in Payson, Utah. Tamara was born on March 17, 1978 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Leslie Jacobson and Dale Jones. Kirk Jacobson raised Tamara as his own daughter her entire life.
Tamara dedicated her life to helping others in any way that she could. She worked as a CNA and as a pharmacy technician. She raised three beautiful children, and always spent time with those she loved.
If you knew Tamara you were loved, she always wanted to help everyone. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and loved with everything she had. Tamara leaves us with this legacy: You taught us love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, not just as a daughter, sister, mother, or aunt. For all of us you gave your best. Now the time has come for you to rest so go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep. Your love in our hearts we will eternally keep.
“If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart and I will stay there forever.”
Tamara is survived by parents, Kirk and Leslie Jacobson, and Dale C. Jones; children: Koby David Wasden, Alexis Kay Wasden, and Rylie Lynn Wasden. Also survived by her sister, Tracy Ross (Lorin Ross); her brother, Kris Jacobson (Sheralee Jacobson); and nephews, Talin Lee Jacobson and Kristopher Koby Jacobson; as well as nieces, Britnee Hass and Kortnie Benson. Preceded in death by her brother, Koby C. Jacobson; grandparents, Gary and Marie Sorensen, Juanita Jones, and Dee Jones.

November 16, 2023 at 8:40 pmMy dear friend, you were such a free spirit. You touched more lives than I think you could have ever imagined. So many people were loved by you and loved you. Please watch over all of us. There’s so much more I could say but I’ll end this like we always did….. with an “I Love You” ❤️
