Stewart Haun Sr. Funeral Service

On January 12, 2025, our amazing father Stewart Blaine Haun Sr. peacefully left his earth to be with his wife Ruth. Stewart was born on March 27, 1951, in Salt Lake City.

He attended and graduated from Granite High School in 1969. After high school he married the love of his life Ruth Marie Spencer on November 8, 1969, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo, Utah LDS temple.

Shortly after marrying Ruth, he joined the Army and was deployed to Vietnam. Upon returning home, he came home to meet his first-born son, and they started their journey in life and had seven children. He enjoyed taking them on camping and fishing trips.

In 1978, he ventured into the automobile business by opening a small repair shop, Haun’s Automotive & Repair, which flourished into a thriving business for 43 years until he retired in 2021. Dad loved nothing more than his family, you could not miss his big smile when he got to see his grandchildren. He loved all the monthly birthday parties and get-togethers at his home in Payson. We will miss him so much, but we are at peace knowing he is with mom.

Stewart was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, son Stewart Jr., grandson Nathan, parents Jack and Ruth, brother Lynn, and sister Annette. He is survived by his children: Preston (Tammy) Haun, Dustun (Caleen) Haun, Shauna (Don) Coughlan, Darrin (Tiffany) Haun, Sarah Haun, and Rock Haun; 22 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren with two more on their way; siblings: Rick Haun, Kenny (Angie) Haun, and Randy (Dona) Haun; sister-in-law, Barbara Haun; and many nieces and nephews who he dearly loved.

We want to thank Maple Creek Home and Hospice for caring for our dad in his final days.
