Stella Archuleta, of Salem, formerly of Springville, passed away on August 3rd, 2019 surrounded by all her loved ones. She was the beloved wife of Amos Archuleta for 65 years and had 3 children, Peggy Ostler, Jerry Archuleta (Deceased) and Michael Archuleta. She also raised 4 beautiful grandchildren, Tyler , Brandon, Brady, and Jasmine Archuleta.
Stella was always spirited, full of life and had a wonderful sense of humor and positive outlook on life. When her children grew up and left the nest, Stella decided to get her cosmetology license. She practiced cosmetology for well over 30 years and owned her own shop.
Stella loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who were all the center of her universe. She enjoyed a good party and hanging out with her family and friends. She enjoyed late nights playing cards, she was an avid reader, enjoyed a little bit of gambling on slot machines, she liked cold beer, the occasional glass of cold wine or a cold margarita. She loved baseball and tried to attend all of her grandchildren’s baseball games.
She is survived by her husband, Amos Archuleta, Peggy Ostler (daughter) Michael Archuleta (son), Sally Garcia (sister), and Timber Valdez (sister). Stella had 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She will be proceeded in death by her parents, Eduardo Vigil and Crusita Mondragon Vigil, Ray Vigil (brother), and Jerry Archuleta (son).
Friends and family are invited to the viewing on August 7, 2019; Rosary at 6 p.m., viewing to follow at 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. Funeral services will be held on August 8, 2019;eulogy at 11:30 a.m. and Mass at 12:00 p.m. at San Andres Catholic Church, 315 E. 100 N., Payson Utah.
Interment will follow at the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
