Shirley Seely Park, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 2, 2023.
Shirley was born on June 24, 1945 in Mount Pleasant, Utah to Grant and Anna Seely. Shirley spent her childhood in Sanpete County where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was very active in her social connections and school life, even winning Homecoming Queen her senior year at North Sanpete High School.
Shirley married Steven Park in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 3, 1965. Together they had two children, Chantele and Brandon. They were sealed as a family for time and all eternity in the Provo, Utah Temple on April 20, 1990.
Shirley worked for Pexton Wholesale as a keypunch operator, and later at the Nephi Rubber Plant as a purchasing agent. During retirement their fifth wheel trailer was like a second home to Steve and Shirley. They spent a lot of time traveling around the Western United States, with their favorite spot being Yellowstone. 
Shirley also spent many years of her life dedicating her time to working in the gift shop at Mountain View Hospital as a “Pink Lady”, which was something she looked forward to doing each week. One of her favorite hobbies was working alongside Steve in their yard. They won “Yard of the Month” several times from Payson City. Above all else, Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother, valuing any time she was able to spend with those she loved.
Shirley is survived by her devoted husband Steven, daughter Chantele (Chuck) Bruton of Payson, and son Brandon Park of Sugarhouse. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Our family would like to thank those who so lovingly cared for our precious mother and grandmother throughout the final year of her life. To the staff at Seasons of Santaquin Assisted Living, we greatly appreciate all of the love and care you extended.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.
