Sherry Jean Angus, 74, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020, in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born November 25, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eugene Dearing and Lorraine Bertelsen Burleigh. Sherry grew up in Springville and Provo.
Sherry married Scottie Leon Angus in 1966 and they were later divorced. She has one daughter, a grandson, and two great grandchildren. Sherry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Visiting Teacher. She was also a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
She is survived by her daughter Michael Ann Angus; a grandson, Michael Leon Angus; and two great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Lynn (Steven) Wyllie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kathleen Burleigh.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00-12:45 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah.
