Shauna Kaye Whitlock-Anderson June 12, 1953 - March 25, 2021

Shauna Kaye was the second child, and first daughter of Aldous Q and Katherine Mathilda Whitlock. She was born and raised in Gunnison, Sanpete County, Utah. In 1972 she met James Lee Anderson and married him on December 15, 1973 in the Manti, Utah Temple – where they pledged their union for Time and Eternity. On March 7, 1975; Shauna and James welcomed their first child into their family – Alissa Kaye Anderson. Alissa was followed by Michael James, Travis Mckay, and Derek Que. In 1991, she survived the passing of Michael James.

Shauna held leadership positions in the professional world but excelled at being a Mother and Spouse. Her house was truly a home to her children and she always left the door open for them. She was amazing at understanding each of her children and was everything that they needed in a Mother. On June 2, 1994 Shauna lovingly welcomed her first Grandchild into the family; Michaela Shaun. After Michaela, Shauna enjoyed the arrivals of Makenzi Lee, Gideon McKay, Kinkade James, Luca James, Keevan Glade, Sophie Marie, Khloe Elene, Noah Michael, Owen Drake, and Liam Que.

Shauna was the ideal Grandma; known as everyone’s “listener”. When her children and grandchildren were in need – Shauna put on her cape and would fly to the rescue! She fostered great love and admiration from her family that will live in their memories forever.

A few things her family enjoyed was her wicked sense of humor, the Disney pins she collected, her car full of coupons, and her love of Zombie shows. They all loved her home at the holidays, the chiming clocks in her front room, and her fruit salad. She had amazing empathy and always had a desire to help her family overcome their challenges.

Shauna passed away in her home on March 25, 2021. She is survived by her husband James, her children: Alissa, Travis, and Derek. As well as her grandchildren and siblings; Kurt, Linda, and Pamela. For her family on this Earth, she was taken too soon; but they are all excited for her reunion with her son Michael and her parents Aldous and Katherine.

Funeral services for Shauna will be as follows:

• Viewing – Wednesday March 31, 2021, 6pm to 8pm at Walker Mortuary – 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, UT
• Final Viewing – Thursday April 1, 2021, 9:45 am to 10:45 am at Spanish Fork Canyon Ridge Stake Center – 1911 East 1850 South, Spanish Fork
• Funeral Services – Thursday April 1, 2021, 11am to 12am at Spanish Fork Canyon Ridge Stake Center – 1911 E 1850 South, Spanish fork
