Recording for Sharon's Funeral Services

Sharon’s Indominable spirit did not come to an end with her last earthly breath. Sharon passed away on February 5th, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones, who will continue to cherish and honor her legacy of living her life to the fullest with the upmost compassion.

Sharon completed her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Brigham Young university, where she met her husband Paul of 50 years. One of Sharon’s favorite bible verses was Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of the brothers and sisters of mine you did for me.” Sharon’s truly lived by this verse as her pride and heart’s passion was to care for others, especially children and those who needed an extra hand in life. Whether as parent, teacher, aid, caregiver, mentor, or coach, Sharon always stood up to the task, as this was more than work or livelihood it was her ultimate calling.

Sharon was young at heart herself as she was always ready for the next adventure or outing. She was always the life of the party, who would make everyone chuckle at themselves and herself…Not to ever take things too seriously and to always live with humility. She found her greatest pleasures, in spending time with friends, family, snuggling all of her kiddos, cheering on her favorite sports teams, whether it was any of her children or her Clemon Tigers, dinking around, singing Karaoke or hymns and lullabies alike. And then there was always her vibrant gaiety of game nights, that were encouraging and jovial both.

Sharon is living on through her surviving family of Husband, Paul, Children Tim, Tami, Kim, and Kellee, Sisters Marilyn, Shirley and Stephanie, and all of her countless loved ones and their children that she chose as her extended adoptive family.

Services for Sharon will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints Spanish Forks Second ward (99 North 920 West Spanish Fork Utah, 84660) at 1:00 PM with a graveside service At Evergreen Cemetery to follow.

We have so many memories of Sharon, starting with our days together in Cougar Band at Brigham Young University. We both loved being in the band and going to all the games. Sharon liked having fun, and we participated in our share of practical jokes at Heritage Halls. As young mothers, we lived on the same street for some years. We will always remember Sharon’s love of fun and games and her easy laugh; her great love and concern for children – every child everywhere. And her dedication to her family, her friends, and her God. Sharon, we miss you already, and we will treasure our memories of you in our hearts forever.
