Scott Gerald Hone, 62, of St. George, formerly of Payson, Utah passed away on October 10, 2019 in his home. Scott was born the 6th of 8 children to Clyde LeRoy and Geraldine Francom Hone on June 3, 1957 in Payson, Utah. He attended and graduated from Payson High School in 1975.
Scott traveled throughout the United States working as a pipe fitter installing fire sprinkler systems for over 30 years.
He married Terri Diane Carter on July 29, 2017 in Payson, Utah.
Scott enjoyed golfing and gardening. He had a great sense of humor, was the life of the party, and always enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Scott is survived by his wife Terri, son Gavin (Heather) Hone, grandson Henry Hone, stepchildren Stacy (Rob) Measom, Blake (Leisell) Christensen, Richard (Melanie) Christensen, Amberly (Cord) Lindsey, and Amy (Aaron) Dyer, 16 step grandchildren, siblings Lee (Linda) Hone, Craig (Kathy Lee) Hone, Mike (Lana) Hone, Annette (Craig) Draper, and Kent (Sue) Hone, brother-in-law Chad Hulet, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Joel Hone, and sister Michelle Hulet.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 12 p.m. at the Payson City Cemetery.
