Schad John Harrison January 4, 2004 - January 3, 2020

Schad John Harrison was born to John and Cheryl (Hughes) Harrison on January 4, 2004 at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah.

Schad had many interests including dirt bike riding, hunting, trap shooting, playing football, reading, drawing and playing video games.

Schad attended ALA High School in Spanish Fork where he was a Sophomore. When Schad was not in class or on the football field, he could be found outside on a dirt bike or skeet shooting. He loved going to Oregon and hunting at the family ranch and cabin. Schad got his first buck at his Grandpa Bob’s cabin in Baker City, Oregon. He really enjoyed going to Oregon and riding his dirt bike up to Pine Creek Reservoir.

Schad had a few nicknames from his family and friends which are, Schadyroo, Schadakins, and Fish. One day after school Cheryl picked Schad up from school and asked, “How was your day?” Schad replied back, “It’s kind of weird, the guys at school keep calling me fish, and I am not sure why.” Cheryl smiled and laughed and proceeded to tell Schad, “Well the name Shad is a fish.” Schad started to laugh and said, “Huh, now I understand!”

Schad is survived by both of his parents, his mother, Cheryl (Hughes) Harrison and father, John Harrison. Schad has 3 loving sisters and 2 amazing brothers from oldest to youngest, Tessa Kolesar, Jennina Harrison, Kaisley Harrison, Ashton Harrison and Colton Hone. Schad has three nephews Merik, Seraxton, and Knox. When Schad was around his nephews, he loved to play with them for hours on end. Even though he always said, “I will never have kids”, he loved being around the three little guys.

Funeral services will be held Friday January 10, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Following the services there will be a luncheon at the Spanish Fork 3rd Ward located at 575 West 400 North, Spanish Fork, Utah, 84660.
