Savana Christensen Dunn
December 30, 1941 – July 25, 2025
Our beloved mother and grandmother, Savana Dunn, passed away at the age of 83 at her home in Georgetown, California. Born in Preston, Idaho, she lived a vibrant life, moving between Idaho, Washington, Utah, Nevada, and California. Savana had a remarkable talent for forging lifelong friendships and effortlessly building a sense of community wherever she went.
Her devoted spouse, James Dunn, lovingly cared for her in her final years, enabling her to remain in her cherished home in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Married on November 26, 1965, they shared a deep bond of love and respect, approaching what would have been their 60th anniversary this November. Together, they built a life filled with quiet devotion and mutual support.
Savana was a dedicated mother and an extraordinary grandmother, creating cherished memories and traditions that will endure for generations to come. Her passion for collecting antiques and vintage treasures earned her the affectionate nickname “Rummage Queen.” She eagerly explored weekly garage sales and thrift stores, delighting in cleaning, refinishing, and occasionally reselling her unique finds.
Savana is survived by her loving husband, James Dunn; two children, David Christian Dunn (Marie) and Jennifer Ann Budd (Brandon); seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Savana will be laid to rest in Spanish Fork, Utah. A celebration of life will be held on August 8, 2025, at Walker Funeral Home, located at 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Visitation will take place from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to attend to honor and remember Savana.
