June 5th, 1960 – February 2nd, 2021

Sandra Davis Doty passed away peacefully, in her home, on February 2nd, 2021, after a brave fight with Pancreatic Cancer for 22 months. Sandra was an inspiration and a light to all who knew her and was beloved by her family, friends, and community. She was known for her love of music and chose to dance and sing her way through life, no matter what her circumstances were. She was the strongest and best mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend to all.

Sandra was born in Spanish Fork, Utah, and lived in Salem, Utah, with her loving parents, Harold and Lorna Davis. Sandra was born the 7th of 10 children to Harry and Lorna with siblings Sherry, Karen, Nadene, Earl, Duane, Stan, Brent, Hanna, and Milo. Sandra was blessed to be in a tight-knit family who have chosen to stay close. In childhood and adulthood, Sandra loved to spend time with her siblings and parents.

Sandra graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1978 and went on to attend school at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah. At both schools, she was always surrounded by friends and continued to make new friends wherever she was in life.

Sandra met Patrick Doty in September of 1992, after being set up on a blind date by her friends. They were married in August of 1993, at the Davis Ranch, and later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. They have four beautiful daughters named Amber, Kailey, Taylor, and Jaqlyn. Sandra loves her girls and spent all of her free time driving them to whatever dance practice they had, or watching them perform while sitting front and center cheering louder than anyone else in the audience. She has three grandsons named Connor, Jack, and Sam who always kept her on her toes and whom she loved to go outside and play with or watch at their soccer games or karate and dance performances. Sandra loves her family and looked forward to any opportunity they had to be together.

Sandra and Patrick moved to Benjamin, Utah, shortly after they were married in 1993, and have lived there since. Sandra was very active in her little community and her ward at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sandra always found herself in the Young Women’s program for their church where she was a mother to all the girls. She loves her Ward family and fully dedicated herself to serving everyone more than she ever let anyone serve her.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Eugene Doty; her four daughters: Amber Dahle, Kailey Wilson, Taylor Doty, and Jaqlyn Doty. She is also survived by her siblings: Karen and Craig Larsen, Nadene and John Cope, Earl and Marian Davis, Stan and Michelle Davis, and Brent Davis. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Harold and Lorna Davis; her sisters, Sherry Davis and Hanna Davis Bowler; and her brothers, Duane and Milo Davis.

Sandra is so loved by everyone who knew her. She never put herself first and was always looking for ways to help. She loved the sun and was always scattering sunshine everywhere she went. She loved to laugh and sing and dance and her contagious energy encouraged everyone else to laugh and sing and dance along with her. Her kind heart and loving spirit left a mark in this world. Sandra will not soon be forgotten and will live on through the love she gave.

We will be having a viewing, for anyone who would like to pay their respects, on Tuesday, February 9th from 10:00 AM-12:15 PM at the Benjamin Church (3238 West 7300 South Benjamin, UT 84660). So sorry to hear of Sandra’s passing. I remember teaching her in primary. I spent lots of time in their house. Sherry was one of my best friends. She will be met in heaven by many family members.

Dear Patric and family, I am saddened to hear of Sandra’s passing. I will always remember the days we played with our “thousands of cousins” across the street from Grandpa Ernest and Grandma Peg! The Davis Reunions at Lagoon were almost as good as Christmas too. I am also excited for Sandra to again greet her family on the other side, and that we too will be with her again. We miss them. I would love to meet you all sometime.
With love and prayers, Cousin Denny (Dennis) and Jan Davis, Oakley Idaho

    I’m devastated over this news!
What a sweet person Sandra was.
She was a couple years younger than me growing up in Salem. But I remember her always being so happy and genuine.
    My prayers for her family.
I’m sure the joy of once again being in Harry & Lorna’s arms and the sisters & brothers that passed on before is as strong as the heartache and sadness of her sweet family here.
Treasure all your memories. And know that she has those same memories with her.
    God Bless.
