Our precious, sweet, loving, and beautiful Samantha (Sammi) Nicole Molina passed from her mortal existence into the eternal on November 11, 2022, in Springville, Utah. She was 34 years old.
Sam always had a deep love for all things nature since was little. She loved going on hikes, floating the rivers, fishing, camping, and swimming. She was always up for any crazy outdoor adventure. She was also an incredible artist and had a unique ability to create beauty anywhere she went. She loved all animals and had a very close bond with the family dog, opie/scoob. She also loved her favorite shows, which were bobs burgers and Star Wars and often spent her free time watching both. She loved the color pink and always had a taste for bright beautiful colors and things. Her room always had big, pretty tapestries and sparkly bright decor throughout her home. She was in college and was striving for her goal, which was to obtain a degree in psychology and to be a substance abuse counselor. She was very passionate about wanting to help all people in need and giving people a better life or circumstance.
There’s just not enough love in this world that would describe how it felt to be with Sam. She loved her children Ella and Liam unconditionally and spoke of them often. She was so pretty and so extremely intelligent and witty, she blessed the lives of everyone she knew, even strangers. She would take them in even if it meant a struggle. Sam didn’t want to see anyone suffer. She had huge challenges in this life, and she boldly overcame them so much. Sam loved on a level most can’t fathom. She knew very intimately what would make you feel special and would do little things that let you know she cared. She always had a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on no matter who it was. She always offered advice and a different outlook to try and help in any way she could.
Sam was married to Manuel Molina and they shared 6 beautiful years together. Their love was one of a kind and Manny took great care of her and she loved him very much. We all feel such a tremendous loss, as she was such a light in all our lives. Go with God Sam and finally be at peace and say hi to grandma and grandpa for us. We love you so very much.
She is proceeded in death by Doran Allen Piatt and Belle Bernice Piatt, her grandparents who raised her. She is survived by her husband, Manuel Molina, her mother, Alicen Piatt, her father, Timothy Wayne Schurtz, her beautiful daughter, Ella Madeline, her son, Liam Allen, her godmother, Laurie Scott, her sister, Seelah Rivers Piatt, and many half brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. Sam leaves a great big, beautiful ripple here for all of us who know her.
Funeral arrangements for Sam will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, at 1:00p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Spanish Fork, Utah. We know Sam’s sunshine will last forever and she blessed so many lives, so we welcome anyone who knew and loved her to attend. Come as you are.
