Ruby Mae Gull Shell passed away in the early morning hours of May 26, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born September 6, 1929 to John Bryant and Rosetta Hanks Gull, the baby girl of 13 children. She was raised and educated in Spanish Fork, Utah.
She married Willard Vernon Carter on December 23, 1947 in Spanish Fork. He passed away January 11, 1952.
She married Clarance Louis Shell on June 4, 1954. From this union, two children were born, Louis and Diane.
She was a devoted wife and mother and a treasured friend to many. She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, faithfully serving in various organizations throughout her life. She was an avid BYU fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both spouses, and 11 siblings, her brother Earl passed away two days following her death. She is survived by her children, Louis (Jill), and Diane (Bret); 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside service at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
