Ronald Earl Martin, age 81, passed away at his home in Spanish Fork, Utah on July 8, 2023.
Ron was born January 30, 1942, in South Gate, California, to Earl Wilford Martin and Elaine Reynolds Martin. He grew up in Payson, Utah, graduating from Payson High School. He was drafted by the U.S. Army in 1964 and served during the Viet Nam War.
He married Ginger Bishop and they have lived in Spanish Fork, Utah, for 45 years.
Ron worked at Tooele Army Depot, Pacific States Pipe Plant, and Valtek.
He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ron loved his family! He loved the desert, gardening, working in his yard, and his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger; his children: Stacy (Bart) Provstgaard, Kirk Jones, and Jarrod Jones. Ron is also survived by seven grandchildren and 21 -great-grandchildren, as well as a brother, Dennis, and sisters, Marlene and Laura. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bob; and his sisters, Connie and Janis,
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse, 310 East Center Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. There will be a visitation at the church that morning from 9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral.
