Ronald Henry Haskell December 6, 1946 - November 10, 2021

Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Ronald Henry Haskell, passed away November 10, 2021, at the age of 74, after a short but valiant battle with cancer, lovingly surrounded by his wife and daughters.

Ron was born December 6, 1946, in Payson, Utah, to Henry James Haskell and Ida Lucille Box Haskell. He had 3 brothers and 1 sister.  He attended Payson High School, Class of 65’. He later married the love of his life, Paula Youd, whom he spent 52 glorious years with. Together they had 5 amazing daughters who absolutely adored him and who he absolutely adored.  Shortly after marrying Paula, Ron moved them to Spanish Fork, Utah, where the majority of his life was lived raising and loving his family.

Ron was a man of many talents, a jack of all trades. He had many job titles throughout his life and could do it all, manage, fix, build, restore anything he come across. Restoring cars was one of Ron’s main hobbies and passions. Driving around town, you would most assuredly come across or drive by a vehicle that Ron had either fixed for someone; or an old one he had bought, restored, painted and sold. He was a man of great detail and loved working with his hands.

Later in life, Ron would ultimately call Scofield, Utah, his home where he lived out his dream, starting with a vision, designing and drawing up his own plans, and building a cabin from the ground up, that overlooked the lake, with his own hands . This cabin became the heart and center of the Haskell family and was Ron’s pride and joy. So many wonderful memories created there that will be cherished, forever and longer.

Ron is survived by his beautiful wife, Paula; his 5 wonderful daughters: Paulette (Richard) Robertson, Renae Haskell, Michelle Haskell, Charleen (Mark) McEwan, Angela (Michael) Weis; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; two brothers: Clyde (Eleanor) Haskell, Stanley (Virgie) Haskell, one sister, Marietta (Ronald) Dennis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lucille Haskell; one brother, Steven Haskell; and twin grandsons, Jake and Jordan Hansen.

A viewing will be held in honor of Ronald on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Walker Funeral Home, at 187 South Main Street in Spanish Fork, from 2:00 until 2:45 in the afternoon. A graveside service will be held the same day, at 3 o’clock p.m., at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660.

we will truly miss Ron. He was a treasured neighbor to us twice, once in Spanish Fork and then in Scofield where our cabins are next to each other. He was a great neighbor and friend.
Our love and condolences go to Paula and the family. May our Heavenly Father bless you all at this time.
