Robert W. “Bob” Llewellyn, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, at the age of 92. He was born on September 26, 1932, to Fay and Mina Cazier Llewellyn and lived a life filled with love, devotion, and service to his family.
On February 14, 1951, Bob married the love of his life, Carol Huff, and together they built a legacy of love and family. This Valentine’s Day would have marked 74 wonderful years of marriage—a testament to their unwavering commitment to one another.
Bob and Carol were blessed with five children: Blake, Brenda, Sharlene, Jeniel, and Tammi. Their home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of raising a family together. As the years passed, their love multiplied, bringing them 21 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply cherished and adored.
Bob was a hard worker and learned at a young age how to make money. At just 12 years old, he was the youngest person to sign a contract with Del Monte to grow his famous tomatoes for them. His kids and grandkids also enjoyed his amazing tomatoes every summer.
He was a plumbing contractor by trade and the proud owner of Bob’s Plumbing, as well as Gambles Hardware Store. His passion for his craft extended beyond his businesses; he taught the apprentice plumbing program at Utah Technical College and later served for many years as the facilities maintenance manager for the church.
An avid outdoorsman, Bob found joy in fishing and deer hunting. He owned a pheasant farm and loved to guide hunts, creating lasting memories for his family. For many of his grandchildren, time spent at the pheasant farm remains a core memory that they will always cherish.
Bob had a creative and adventurous spirit. He dabbled in stained glass window-making, art, lamp collecting, and even spinning his own fishing lures. He and Carol loved traveling together in their motorhome, exploring new places and making lifelong memories along the way.
Bob loved to talk to everyone and tell stories. He was impossible to go in public with because he would always be caught up talking to someone. His gift of conversation and ability to connect with others was a true reflection of his warm and friendly nature.
Bob’s life was one of quiet strength, kindness, and devotion. He found joy in the simple things—family gatherings, sharing stories, and offering wisdom to those he loved. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched, and his memory will forever be held dear by those who were blessed to know him.
Though he is no longer with us, the love he shared and the values he instilled will continue to shape the lives of his family for generations to come.
A short funeral service will be held in his honor at the LDS chapel at 1661 S 1400 E, Spanish Fork on Wednesday, February 12th at 11:00 AM, with a viewing prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Bob’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who has touched their lives, specifically his many friends and neighbors, Jessica and Chelsea from Canyon Homecare and Hospice, as well as his beloved granddaughter and favorite nurse, Lexie Gordon.
They warmly invite friends and loved ones to join in celebrating the extraordinary life of a man who has meant so much to so many.
