On October 17, 2021, our loving brother, uncle, and friend, Robert “Kyle” Emerine passed away following an acute illness.
Kyle was born on October 13, 1962, to Lee and Norma Jean Emerine. He had an older brother and a younger sister. Kyle attended Payson High School and received a GED before going on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Utah Technical College. He enlisted in the Army Reserves after high school and served his country honorably. Kyle worked in a variety of settings and was working at a convenience store at the time of his death.
Kyle was faced with many challenges in life. He overcame much. Throughout his struggles, he always tried to be a loving friend. Family was important to him and although he didn’t always say it, he loved them very much.
Kyle is survived by his brother, David (Sheri) Emerine, of Payson, Utah; his sister, Stephanie (Eddie) Stallings, of Lake Shore, Utah; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 1700 West, Bluffdale, Utah 84065.

October 26, 2021 at 3:21 amKyle was an outstanding human being. And a great friend. Despite the adversity he faced in life, he still managed to wear a smile, laugh at a bad joke, and take all the punches life threw at him. Kyle and I shared the same love of rocks. I used to enjoy listening to him tell stories about his Dad and where he found his rocks and the adventures they went on together. I am truly sorry for your loss. Kyle was one of a kind. His absence will be felt by many. Rest in peace Kylee Cyrrus (he hated that one but it just stuck:). Were gonna miss you. Say hi to Shannon for us.
Sincerely,
James & Heidi Babcock
