Regino Rojas Machorro, age 56, of Payson, passed away on May 9, 2019. Regino was born on September 7, 1962 in Los Reyes de Juavez, Mexico to Tomas Rojas Rosas and Otilia Machorro. Regino attended Juan C. Bonilla Elementary School and Universidad Autonoma de Puebla.
On June 27 he married Rosa Geronimo in Puebla, Mexico. Together they had 5 children.
Regino worked at Panda Express in both Orem & Spanish Fork. He also worked at Utah Pacific Bridge & Steel.
He loved his farm, animals, and his children.
Regino was a member of the Catholic Church.
Regino is survived by his children Emilio Rojas, Gemma Rojas, Juan Rojas, Jazmine Rojas, and Matthew Rojas. Regino is also survived by 2 grandchildren, and siblings Navor Rojas, Cristina Rojas, Tomasa Rojas, Narciso Rojas, Teresa Ramos, and Silvia Rojas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rosa, parents, and son Demitrio Rojas (still born).
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Francis Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem, Utah. A Rosary will be held prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Orem City Cemetery.
