Peggy Joy Dockstader Bird, loving mother, aunt, grandmother and sister, passed away on June 4, 2019 in Springville, Utah. Peggy was born March 16, 1948 in Payson, Utah to Verl Eugene and Lenereaux Holman Dockstader. She grew up in Payson and was a graduate of Payson High School.
Peggy worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. She loved country music, sewing, camping, and going for drives. She was an amazing cook and loved making her signature toffee for family and friends. Her family was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her children, Troy Bird; Julie (Mark) Crandall; Trent (Jennifer) Bird; Jason (Casandra) Bird; a special niece, Cindy Forbush; 25 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Douglas Dockstader, and Drew Dockstader; and a sister, Esther Eden. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Twila Diamond.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.at Walker Funeral Home, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah.
