She attended grade school in Benjamin and graduated from Spanish Fork High School.
On February 19, 1959, Peggy married the love of her life, James Fletcher Larsen, in the Salt Lake City Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together they built a home centered on faith, love, and family, sharing more than 67 years of marriage and creating a lifetime of cherished memories.
Peggy began her career with First Security Bank and later worked for the Nebo School District as a baker in the school lunch program. She took pride in serving others and was known for her dedication, dependability, and caring nature.

Peggy found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved camping, ATV riding, fishing, refurbishing used furniture, antiquing, reading, and listening to music. She especially enjoyed cooking and canning, and her homemade bread and Christmas candy became treasured family traditions that brought loved ones together year after year.
Above all, Peggy was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, humility, and unwavering faith left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Peggy is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, James Fletcher Larsen; her daughters, DeeAnn (Todd) Ore of Payson, Utah, Marilyn (Shawn) Taylor of Santaquin, Utah, and Katie Garner of Spanish Fork, Utah; eight cherished grandchildren; and seventeen beloved great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard Theodore Balzly and Zoe Marie Rinehart; her sisters, Nila and Mildred; her brothers, Terry and Mick; her beloved daughter, Sue Ann Nusink; and her cherished grandchildren, Weston Taylor and Alex Garner.
Peggy’s legacy is one of faith, hard work, compassion, and unconditional love. She lived a life of quiet service, always placing the needs of others before her own and finding joy in caring for her family and friends. Her example of kindness, resilience, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and influence will remain in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
