Paula Cartwright Davis age 64, passed away from ovarian cancer on May 29, 2021 at her home in Benjamin, Utah surrounded by her family.
Paula is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Lee Davis, her children Denise (Adam) Easter, Misty (Dale) Roberts, and Ray (Marlee) Davis, her grandchildren Eliana Easter, Brielle Davis, Carter Davis, Avery Roberts and Grayson Roberts, her mother Helen Cartwright, and her siblings Cathy Dotson and David (Monty) Cartwright.
She is preceded in death by her father Wilford Ray Cartwright, brother Les Cartwright, grandchildren Gavin Adam Charles Easter and Carissa Lynn Easter and great nephew Jack Wright.
Paula was born on September 14, 1956 in Cedar City, Utah to parents Wilford Ray Cartwright and Helen Marr Warren Cartwright. She graduated from Beaver High School in 1975. She moved away from Beaver, Utah after graduation. After high school, she completed a dental hygiene program in Salt Lake City.
She married David Lee Davis on June 16, 1977 in Beaver, Utah. They built their first home in Benjamin, Utah where they were mink ranchers for over 40 years. Dave and Paula had 3 children. They enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time in the outdoors. Besides being a homemaker, Paula held various jobs over the years. One of her favorites was a lunch lady at Salem Hills High School. Paula was very outgoing and social. She loved visiting and catching up with family and friends. Over the years she enjoyed serving in various church callings and serving the youth.
Paula was a loving mother to all. She enjoyed making cookies with grandkids, working on sewing or craft projects, and cooking for people. She was an amazing example of love, service and devotion to family and friends.
Family and Friends are invited to attend visitations: Monday evening, June 7, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday morning, June 8, 2021, from 9:45-10:45 AM at Benjamin 2nd Ward LDS Church, 3278 West 7300 South, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660. The funeral service will be held at the same church Tuesday morning, June 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be Salem City Cemetery.
