Paul R Chapple April 6, 1933 - March 14, 2025

Paul R. Chapple was born on February 6th, 1933. Lovingly known by friends and family as “Chuck.” He was the second child of Roach J. Chapple and Rhoda Evelyn Robbin, and grew up with his siblings Donna and Keith. A natural athlete, he excelled in sports throughout his youth, lettering in basketball, baseball, football, and track at Spanish Fork High School. These early achievements reflected the determination and love of the outdoors that characterized his approach to life.

Chuck married the love of his life, Marilyn Johnson, with whom he built a loving family. Together they raised their four children Colette (Brent) Sanford, Julie (Norm) Davis, Connie (Jeff) Swain, and Scott (Dave) Chappel. He has 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A lifelong native and resident of Spanish Fork, Chuck devoted his career to beautifying his community as a City Supervisor of the Grounds Crew. He is remembered for his work ethic, practical nature, love of simple things, and appreciation for the outdoors. Chuck faced life’s hardships with remarkable strength, including the loss of his beloved wife Marilyn, daughter Connie, son-in-law Brent, and grandsons Bryant and Dustin.

Chuck passed away peacefully in his home, at the age of 92, on March 14, 2025. Deep thanks to his wonderful primary caretakers Charity, Andrea, Julie, and Norm.

A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held on March 22, 2025, at 1006 E 180 S, Spanish Fork, UT 84660 from 12 pm-2 pm.

Uncle Paul – I have such fond memories coming to your home with mom and dad. I loved watching you and dad laugh together almost like you had a secret language as only brothers could understand. Aunt Marilyn was always so kind and sweet to me making sure I had fun and would play with me and had the funniest wit and sense of humor. I know you are all able to be together and enjoy those same private jokes and laughing and spending time together. With so lunch love and respect, Stephanie
