Paul Lynn Bradford, 68, beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, from a heart attack, after having spent the last few days of his life with all of his children and grandchildren.
Lynn was born January 12, 1953, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Paul King and Margaret Fleming Bradford. He married Cindy Lee Spencer in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised four children: Trevor, Wesley, Andy, and Jenny.
He served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Topeka Kansas Mission. Throughout his life, he served in various callings in the church always helping others.
In addition to his family and church, he loved being outdoors. Lynn loved to hunt and fish. He fished right up to the end of his life, having just bought a new fish finder that he never got to install on the boat and use. According to his boys, birds and fish are now safe to swim and fly. He was able to spend countless hours camping and enjoying nature. He shared this enthusiasm with his family, and other young men as he served faithfully in the scouting program for many years.
Lynn retired in 2018, after 36 years of working at Utah Valley Hospital in their paint division, making many long-time friends. In addition to working in the hospital for many years, he did side jobs painting, as well as helping out family and friends with their painting needs.
He is survived by his father, Paul King Bradford; stepmother, Shirley Van Pelt; his wife, Cindy Lee Spencer; four children: Trevor (Kirsten Sly) Bradford, Wesley (Annie Webb) Bradford, Andy (Danielle Veatch) Bradford, and Jenny (Daniel Bravo); and 12 grandchildren: Jayce, Owen, Aiden, McKay, Paxton, Liam, Connor, Lorenzo, Ezekiel, Zarella, Brielle, and Elena. Siblings, Karen (Glen) Wood, Jerry (Lynette) Bradford, and Diane (Steve) Patten. Preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Fleming Bradford; and a brother, James David.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah; and Saturday, July 3, from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Meadowlark 1st Ward Church, 1167 South 1700 East, Spanish Fork. July 2, 2021 at 10:42 pmI’ve been thinking all week of Lynn and what a fun cousin he was while I was growing up. I remember getting tickled relentlessly by him as a kid, and Aunt Margaret getting after him to let me catch my breath. I also have a fun memory of he and Jerry stopping by grandma’s house, while Ann and I were there visiting, in his Mr Stripper vehicle to take us for a treat. He was always fun and I always remember him having a smile on his face. Sending love and condolences to Paul, Karen, Jerry, and Diane – and their families. And especially to Cindy and their beautiful children, Thinking of you all!
