July 20, 1956 – February 4, 2024
Pamela K Gillies was born in Richfield, Utah on July 20, 1956 to Jay and Charlene Gillies. She passed away February 4, 2024 from complications from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Pam was the third of four daughters and was raised in Beaver, Utah. In 1973, she married her High School sweetheart, John Warby. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. Pam and John ultimately settled in Spanish Fork, Utah, where they raised their three children.
Pam made the best Halloween costumes, threw the best Birthday parties and was a popular Sunday School teacher and Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed photography and spending time outdoors with her family. Every spring, Pam needed to go camping for her red rock-fix and brought many rocks home. John and Pam served in the Adam-ondi-Ahman mission in Missouri for the LDS Church.
Pam is survived by her husband of 50 years, John (Spanish Fork), three children, Christy (Murray), Justin (Alyssa, Santaquin) and Weston (Liz, Orem) and grandson, Tavin (Santaquin). Additionally, she is survived by siblings, Teresa (George Wilson, Syracuse), Janet (Hal Lessing, Beaver), Traci (Terry Butts, Kearns), Larry (Enoch), Rita (Cliff Shotwell, Cedar City), Dale (Las Vegas, NV) and Debrah (James Hurst, Hurricane). She is preceded in death by her parents Jay and Charlene Gillies (Beaver) and brother-in-law George Wilson (Syracuse).
The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy House Spanish Fork for their excellent care and ask in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Primary Children’s Hospital or the Utah Food Bank in her name.
A visitation where family and friends may gather will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. at The Church of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse, 928 Del Monte Road, Spanish Fork, Utah. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel.
Interment will be at the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah.
