Owen William Rowe, loving husband, father, son, and friend, 41, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 from a long-term illness, in Orem, Utah. Owen was born May 7, 1977 in Los Gatos, California to Owen Earl and Kathi Lynn Davis Rowe. He attended school in Payson, Utah and was a 1995 graduate of Payson High School. He received an Associate Degree from Steven’s Heneger College in 2002.
Owen married Chantal Diann Morrell on June 24, 2000 in Spanish Fork, Utah. They were blessed with three wonderful children. His family was his life. He cherished them and they brought him his greatest joy. Owen was very supportive of all of their interests and he always attended each of his children’s events. Though his health did not allow him to coach, he enjoyed volunteering for the sporting activities his children were involved in.
He worked for Mountain Country Foods in Spanish Fork in the Shipping and Receiving Department and previously worked for Nature’s Sunshine for over 15 years.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and dove hunting. Owen was a big 49ers fan and a very supportive Maple Mountain High School fan.
Owen is survived by his loving wife, Chantal; children, Mayson Owen Rowe, Madison Tresa Rowe, and Korbyn Richard Rowe, all of Spanish Fork, Utah; his mother and step-father, Gordon and Kathi Rowe Strong; parents-in-law, Ron and Tresa Dotson, of Spanish Fork, and Richard and Lana Morrell, of Spanish Fork; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Owen E. Rowe; and grandparents, Bill and Shirlene Davis and Owen E and Donna Rae Rowe.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork 1st Ward Chapel, 310 E. Center Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may visit on Thursday evening, April 18, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah, and on Friday morning at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
