On January 23rd, 2023, Michael Oberg picked up his fishing pole and went to Heaven to go fishing with his grandpa once again. Michael and his twin brother Derek were born on September 29th, 1979. They were best friends and partners in crime all their lives. He also had two sisters, Tara and Amy.
Michael was a kind, loving human being who touched the lives of many people. He was always the first person to render love and offer help to others, and he did so with no expectations or strings attached.
He loved to fish and spent every minute he could fishing in every body of water that he could find.
Michael is irreplaceable, he will be loved always and treasured forever.
Thanks to Margaret, his hospice nurse and all his friends that loved and supported him during his illness.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel and Yvonnie Russell, Bernard and Betty Oberg, and by his aunt, Brenda Russell.
He is survived by his mother, Becky Oberg; brother, Derek; sisters, Tara (Ben) Hoinacki and Amy (Jimmy) Johnson, loving nieces, nephews and cousins; and by his father Gary Oberg.
