Michael C. Janssen passed away October 16, 2023, in Casa Grande, Arizona. Mike was born July 16, 1971, to Raymond and Roma Masterson Janssen in Provo, Utah. He and his nine siblings were raised in Payson, Utah. He was a graduate of Payson High School.
Mike was blessed with seven wonderful children.
His life’s employment was in welding and fabrication where he was an owner, mentor and loving friend. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt biking, and riding his motorcycle. He also liked cooking, gardening, making guns, and listening to music.
He is survived by his children: Devin, Kenadee, Derek, Shaylee, Amber, Garrett, and Caleigh; his siblings: Kathy Hathaway, Joanie LeFevre, Robert C. Janssen, Tracy Janssen, Amy L. Janssen, Susy Westerlind, and Aaron D. Janssen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Christy; and brother, James.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 780 West 500 South in Payson, Utah. Visitation will be prior from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.
