Megan Ann Staheli Fellow June 24, 1991 - September 13, 2019

Megan Ann Staheli Fellow, 28, of Santaquin, Utah, returned to her Heavenly Father after passing away unexpectedly on September 13, 2019. Megan was born on June 24, 1991 in Provo, Utah to John Melvin and Karen Ann Tanner Staheli. The youngest of six children – including four protective brothers and a doting sister – she was adored and cherished by her family.

Megan was a smart, beautiful, quick-witted and fearless child who kept her parents on their toes. Her zest for life was evident in her passion for animals. She was never without a pet – even if that meant rescuing one to bring home without permission. She loved music and played the piano beautifully. She loved being outside, especially riding her grandpa’s horses, hiking and soaking up the sun on the beach. From an early age, Megan developed a great work ethic and became a talented athlete. She played softball for Payson High School where she graduated with the class of 2009.

On April 5, 2013 she married her best friend and love of her life, Andrew Jeffrey Fellow. Megan was a true partner and loved deeply. She was strong in her convictions and even stronger in her love for Andrew. He was her greatest confidant and supporter.

Megan was a medical assistant for three different doctors, most recently at Central Valley Medical Center in Nephi. She was a gifted nurse and was most happy caring for those in need. Her patients returned their love – with many requesting Megan specifically to help with their care.

The effects of her big heart went beyond the office. Friends remember Megan as the truest kind of friend, consistently showing up at times of distress or struggle, unwavering in her ability to love, lift, and bring humor to even the bleakest of situations. It was her gift, to know what to say and how to help in times of despair.

Her ability to love and lift others was often evidenced by her relationships with her nieces and nephews. Megan spent countless hours spoiling each one of them individually – setting up special dates and sleepovers, baking with them and always buying them treats. Each one thought of him or herself as Megan’s favorite because of how special she made them feel. Their memories of her will forever be treasured.

Megan is survived by her husband Andrew, parents John and Karen Staheli, siblings Ryan (Janelle) Staheli, Brandon (Natalie) Staheli, Lisa (Michael) Heiner, Tyler (Janae) Staheli, and Brent (Andrea) Staheli, grandfather J. Melvin Staheli, and twenty-four nieces and nephews, who she lovingly referred to as her ‘favorite littles’. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Elaine Dunn Staheli, grandmother Honor Lanctot Tanner, and grandfather Merl Tanner.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints chapel at 900 West 400 North in Payson, Utah.
