Our beloved daughter, McKenna Kathleen Rewis, went home to our Heavenly Father on November 30, 2021, after a short battle with a severe infection. McKenna was surrounded by loving family members when she left her earthly body.
McKenna was born to Brawnson Rewis and Shalice Walker, on August 10, 2009, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born with many medical complications and was initially given a very short life expectancy. She defied all odds and was living proof that miracles happen.
In defying odds throughout her life, McKenna brought a ray of sunshine and humor to our world. She found great humor in watching people pretend to get bonked on the head. Her laugh and smile were contagious and would light up the room.
McKenna was adored by all who knew her, especially her family. She is survived by her parents, Brawnson and Shalice; brothers, Carter and Jaxx; grandmothers: Becky, and Marcy; grandfathers: Noah, Kendall, and Lynn; aunts and uncles: Sheila, Jakob, Libby, Maddison, Carson, and Miranda; cousins: Kaysen, Kathryn, Kalesen, Aurora, and Elijah; great-grandparents: Bob, Paula, Frank, and Taska; and many other extended family members and friends.
McKenna joins her great-grandmother, Kathy, and many other loving relatives in Heaven.
The family is grateful and would like to give thanks to McKenna’s care staff for the care received during her limited time with us.
