Maxine Adams Graff November 2, 1935 - September 20, 2026

In loving memory,

Maxine Graff, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed peacefully on Sunday afternoon, September 20th, at the age of 90, surrounded by the family she loved so much.

Mom was quite a character—and that is one of the things we will miss most about her. She had a fun personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and could visit with just about anyone. She loved people and always seemed to have a story, a thought, or something to share.

Her greatest joy was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply and was always thinking about them. She had a way of making each of us feel special and loved.

Mom also had a heart for serving others. For 40 years, she served as a Pink Lady at Mountain View Hospital, giving her time, friendship, and kindness to countless people. It was just one of the many ways she found to make a difference in the lives of others.

After becoming a young widow, Mom kept moving forward. She loved to travel, enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and became known as the “Queen of QVC.” She loved finding that perfect something for someone else and was always thinking about who she could buy a gift for. Somehow, there was always a reason to place “just one more” QVC order!

Mom chose to see the good in life. She had a positive outlook, a generous heart, and a simple way of showing love and kindness that touched so many people. We will miss her phone calls, her stories, her laughter, her visits, and all those little things that made her simply Mom.

Mom’s sweet and kind nature never left her, even in her final days. We would like to thank the staff at Orchard View for their kindness and excellent care of mom, these past few months.

While our hearts are broken, there is also a great deal of peace in knowing that Mom is with Dad again. After all these years apart, we are happy thinking of the two of them together again. We are grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and the promise that families can be together forever.

We love you, Mom. We will miss you more than words can say. Your love, kindness, laughter, and wonderful personality will live on in all of us until the day we see you again.

Maxine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Graff (1935–1998).

She is survived by her children: Kelly and Keri Graff; Sherry and Dave Thomas; Scott and Cheryl Graff; and Jeff and MaryLynne Graff, along with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, who brought her so much happiness and love.

A celebration honoring Maxine will be held at Walker Mortuary, Spanish Fork Utah, Thursday, September 24th, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to come share memories, stories, and celebrate the wonderful life of Maxine.

Mom will be laid to rest at the Santa Clara City Cemetery in Santa Clara, Utah, on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held in her honor, followed by a family luncheon at 12:00 p.m. at the Santa Clara 1st Ward LDS Chapel, located at 3040 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah.
