After a short but intense battle with cancer, Maureen Tuckett Stone courageously moved to heaven on December 23, 2021. She passed away at home surrounded by her family, who loved her dearly. She was 79 years old.

Maureen was born November 7, 1942, to her loving parents, Willis and Fern Tuckett. She grew up with her six siblings on a farm in Lake Shore. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1961, where she served as class secretary. She married Keith Christianson after high school, and they later divorced. They had five children. She later married Erman Stone, with his three children, and they had one daughter together. They raised their family in Salem and were married for 48 years.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held many callings. The calling she took most seriously was that of Mother. She reared her children in love and righteousness and nurtured them well. She prioritized helping her children whenever there was a need and was especially good at listening with patience and love. Her family completely adored her, and everyone she contacted loved and respected her. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed sewing. Everyone loved her cooking, and we all looked forward to family gatherings centered around her delicious meals. She loved to watch movies with her family or read a good book. She also enjoyed camping. We all treasure our memories of camping trips with her throughout the beautiful mountains of Utah.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Erman; and their children: Ed Christianson (Tiffany), Michelle Lang (David), Carol Devenport, Michael Stone (Sundee), John Christianson (Stephanie), Richard Christianson (Jodi), Shawn Midkiff (Kimber), Chris Christianson (Denise), and Heather Kitchen (Greg); and her siblings: Bill Tuckett (Roberta), Janice Carter (Merrill), Carolyn Walker (Steve), Denny Tuckett (Dorothy), and Joe Tuckett (Cheri). She has 44 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Maureen is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Phil and Cherril Argyle; sister-in-law, Linda Tuckett; and son-in-law, Michael Devenport.

The family would love to thank those who have demonstrated their love and compassionate service during this time, her hospice caregivers; and RN, Nancy Trapnell.
