Marjorie Ann Fehmel Rowley, our mother and grandmother, peacefully passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 in Provo, Utah. Marge was born December 23, 1938 in Provo, Utah to Kurt Paul and Wilma Robertson Fehmel. She was the oldest of two children and was raised in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Granite High School.
She married Calvin Marion Rowley and they are the parents of six children. They were later divorced. She loved being a homemaker and raising her children brought her much joy. She later worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Food Service Department at the Church Office Building for several years in Salt Lake City.
She had many talents, and used them to bless her family, friends, and neighbors. Marge baked bread for her family often, enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk, and listening to music from musicals.
Marge was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially loved serving in the Seattle Washington Temple.
She is survived by her children, Jan (Von) Hill, St. George, Utah, Carleen Rowley, West Valley City, Utah, Tamra (Larry) Hansen, Orem, Utah, Wayne Rowley, Dallas, Texas, Marianne Springer, Orem, Utah, David Rowley, Orem, Utah; as well as 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; former spouse, Cal Rowley; brother, Paul Fehmel; son-in-law, David Goodwine; and a grandson, Hayden Rabins.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah, prior to the Graveside service.
