Marcus Andrew Norman January 4, 1990 - December 22, 2023

Our gentle-hearted Marcus passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2023. Marcus Andrew Norman was born on January 4, 1990, in Lake Tahoe, California. He was a happy child with an endearing mischievous smile and big, trusting brown eyes. He loved to tinker with things, taking them apart to rebuild. Marcus had a passion for Legos, games, and computers; these interests continued throughout his adult life. He was highly creative and talented and is especially remembered for these traits.

Marcus loved wholeheartedly; if he cared for you, that love endured without faltering. He was loyal to the end. He generously shared his humor and cared for working with at-risk youth.

He is survived by his sister Brittany Marshall, whom he always looked after, and his grandmother Carol Norman, whom he dearly loved, and who loves him as a son. Marcus is also remembered fondly by his aunts Lynessa Norman, Carol Stevens, Heather Norman, Katrina Norman, and Monique Norman, his uncle Erik Norman, and his cousins and lifelong friends.

Marcus is preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Norman, his grandfather Monte Norman, his aunt Rochelle Norman, and uncle Monte Norman.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 711 South 600 East, Payson, Utah. Visitation will be prior from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.

Heartfelt condolences and sincere good memories, Marcus. The first time we met, you were so sincere in welcoming me to the group and caring for me as a new staff member. I admired your firm but fun leadership of the staff and how all the students admired you. Camping, daily routines and car-pooling, there was never a dull moment and always a smile. Thanks for the memories!
