Marcia Anderson was born Feb. 17, 1943 in Delta, Utah to Otto and Alta Anderson. When she was 2 years old her family moved to Benjamin, Utah. She attended schools in Benjamin and Spanish Fork. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School. She enjoyed working at Deseret Industries for 47 years. She was very proud of her retirement plaque that was signed by Pres. Russell M. Nelson, who is her cousin once removed. She loved word searches, painting and coloring, jewelry, and Hallmark movies. She loved family reunions, birthday parties with lots of balloons, pica “lilly” chips from Barry’s and strawberry milkshakes.
She lived at the Spanish Fork Beehive house for the last 1 ½ years. She loved her little room filled with flowers, dolls, butterflies, and fairy lights, it just “feels like home”.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She looked forward to the sacrament being brought into the Beehive Home and Relief Society sister visits. She loved the temple.
She is survived by sisters Rae (Wayne) Shepherd and Ardith (Boyd) Bradford, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Clair Anderson, Beryl Wilson, Ralph Anderson, Ilene Elder, and infant twins, Ronald and Roland.
Marcia’s family would like to express their gratitude to The Beehive Home staff for their loving care. Marcia felt that she had come home. Also, a special thanks to Aunt Rae and Lori for the years of care they provided for Marcia.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23 at 12:00 at the Benjamin Ward building located at 3238 West 7300 South Spanish Fork. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 at the same location. Interment will be at the Benjamin Cemetery.
