Manuel Ruiz beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great- Grandfather. Passed away at his home peacefully on October 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Manuel was born June 8,1941in Coahuila, Mexico to Luis Ruiz Rocha and to Cipriana Bernal Ruiz. He had a Degree in Business and Accounting he had studied in Mexico, prior to coming to live in Elberta Utah. When he had decided to live here in Utah, he started working at The Elberta LDS Church Farm Corp. Little did he realize it would be his life long career. He dedicated 45 years to this company. After years of learning and dedication, he was promoted and became a supervisor. He made many friends over the years. He was a very spiritual, loving and caring friend to all. He adored and loved everyone in his family as it was a very important part of his life. He loved family gatherings and looked forward to yearly trips to visit his siblings and other family members throughout the United States and Mexico.
As a young man he trained to be a boxer as well as working as a butcher. He enjoyed watching Baseball and Football games as well as Fishing and Gardening. Gardening seemed to be what he really enjoyed, he loved every stage of life as he did with gardening. He loved seeing all his grandkids and great grandkids be born. There must have been a correlation between the two, because he took such care of his family’s needs as he did in his gardening. He nourished and watered all that he did. His love and caring for these made a difference in how he shaped his family. We all take something from the examples he shared, in teaching us how we should live.
He will be remembered for his kindness, witty humor, friendships and acceptance for all people. He led a humble and simple life, yet was very loved, blessed and wealthy in the over abundance of precious relationships he had.
