Lynn Jorgensen Livestream Broadcast

Lynn Jorgensen, beloved husband, father, “Pa”, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, in Springville, Utah. After a courageous battle with Congestive Heart Failure, he left this life surrounded by his devoted wife and loving children.

Born on July 16, 1949, in Price, Utah. Lynn attended Carbon High School where he had many adventures with his infamous friend group “The Penguins”. He grew up in Wellington, Utah, where he met and married the love of his life Deanna Butler. They were married and sealed in the Manti LDS temple June 5th,1971. Together they built a legacy of love, compassion, and service not only for their family but for the many neighbors and friends they’ve met along their many adventures together.

Lynn proudly served his country in the Utah Army National Guard, attaining the rank of 1st Sargent. During his military career, he served during Operation Desert Storm, demonstrating the same dedication, courage, and sense of duty that characterized every aspect of his life. He was deeply honored to serve his nation and carried the values of service and patriotism with him throughout his life.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lynn dedicated much of his life to serving the Lord and those around him. He faithfully served in the Eastern Atlantic States Mission 1968-1970. An experience that strengthened his testimony and love for the gospel. Throughout his life, he willingly accepted opportunities to serve in many capacities, including as a Cub Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, and with the UVU YSA program,  where he touched the lives of countless youth and young adults through his kindness, wisdom, and example.

A hardworking and resourceful man, Lynn built a life through determination and perseverance. Over the years, he wore many hats—as an entrepreneur, business owner, coal miner, farmer, and mechanic.

He had a curious and inventive mind and could often be found tinkering in the garage, working on anything with an engine, and finding creative ways to fix just about anything. No task was too difficult. When he wasn’t outside, gardening, or farming Lynn could be found with a good book.

To his grandkids he was “Pa”. Pa loved camping beneath the stars, casting a line into a lake, and hunting with family, especially his grandchildren. No one brought a smile to his face like his grandchildren. He was a steady presence, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer wise counsel, or share a warm smile. He treasured every moment spent with them.

As Lynn crossed the veil, his family finds comfort in knowing that one of the first to greet him was his beloved son Josh and his favorite dog Missy. After many years apart their reunion is surely one filled with perfect love, healing, and joy.

He is survived by his loving wife Deanna Butler Jorgensen, His 4 children Jamie Frame(Benjy), Jennifer Nicholes(Kirk), JJ Jorgensen(Stephanie), and Janae Shepherd(Trevor). His Sister Renee Blackburn, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Joshua Jasper Jorgensen, his parents Chris and Ada Jorgensen, sisters Annalou Birch and Aleen Dubray, and “big brother” Jimmy Jay Jorgensen.

The family would like to thank Patti, Trevor, and the Bristol Hospice team for their tender care and love they gave to Lynn the last 6 months of his life. I have many fond memories of Lynn. He was my little league coach and was always so encouraging and positive. He always called us “you pot lickers!” Just a kind, kind man and a great family. My heart is filled with love for all of the Jorgensen Family. God Bless
