Lucille White, 72 of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2025.
Lucille was born in Nephi, Utah, on November 12, 1953, to Powell Lee and Cleo Elizabeth Twitchell Lee. She was the baby of 10 siblings: 5 boys and 5 girls. She grew up in Utah County where she met the love of her life, Ross White. They married on October 5, 1974, and they made their home in Spanish Fork, Utah. Together, they had five kids – a son and four daughters, who blessed them with 23 grandkids and 15 great grandkids.
She had a hard life from many things including her health. Lucille lost the love of her life in 2012 which made her life even more difficult. She has always been a fighter by choice and from circumstances. Her friends and family fondly called her Lucy and Lou. If you were lucky enough to be included in her circle of people, you were blessed to be called hers and she would do anything for you, including letting herself become homeless so you didn’t have to be. She could, and would, grow anything “green;” she had the best flower garden wherever she lived. She loved to spend her time reading or crocheting, which she would do for hours. She lived her life around her puppies, which she loved with all of her soul.
She moved to the Roosevelt area in Duchesne County three years ago. She has been trying ever since to get back “home” to Utah County with her girls.
Lucille is survived by her children: Celeste Fox (Darrin)of Santaquin, UT; Ashley Eaquinto (Nicholas) of Santaquin, UT; Desiree Jackson (Matthew) of Salem, UT; Madison White (Kris Mckell) of Springville, UT; Lonnie White (Stephanie) of Talmage, UT; 23 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Delray Lee of Rock Springs, WY; Leathea Hazel (Tim) of Mona, UT; Larene White (Gordon) of Payson, UT; and Erwin “Butch” Lee (Marilee) of Nephi, UT. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ross White; her parents, Powell and Cleo Lee; her siblings: Derald Lee, LaVenard Lee, Darwin Lee, Harriet Emma Lee, and Geraldine Whiting.
There will be a visitation, where family and friends may gather, on Thursday afternoon, November 20, 2025, from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah. Following the visitation, graveside services will be held at Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.
