Linda P. Warren Funeral Service

Linda P. Warren

31 March 1943 – 17 June 2026

Salem, Utah

Linda was the last of seven children born to Clifford Lamar and Lucy Mary (Jensen) Peacock in Ely, Nevada and raised in Lund, Nevada. She is survived by only one sibling, Scharlott Ann Ennis. Her other siblings are Jensen, Dena, Vione, Ina Jane, and Oliver.

Linda is survived by her four children and their spouses: Connie Hayes (Warren), Julie Taylor (Roger), Carl Trautman (Tracy), and Janette Joiner (Josh). Her six stepchildren and their spouses are: Boyd Warren (Dorthea), Mary Ruth Warren Forsey (Roger), Bruce Warren (Heidi), Brent Warren (Maureen), Brian Warren (Lori), Bradley Warren (Julie). Linda has been blessed with over 140 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Growing up was difficult. She had pneumonia several times, scarlet fever, and rheumatic fever. She has always been a fighter. Though she faced many trials throughout her life, she was always a faithful follower of Christ as a Latter-day Saint.

Linda grew up on her parents’ and grandparents’ dairy farm. In 1960, she married Charles Trautman and started their family, raising them in Reno, Nevada. After they divorced, it took Linda 20 years to find love again. Leray and Linda were married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple in American Fork on May 7, 1999. They had almost 20 years together before the passing of Leray in 2019.

Linda loved genealogy and learning the stories of her ancestors. She made sure a family newsletter was published for all her siblings and children for more than 25 years. Family Reunions were very, very important to her. “Families Can Be Together Forever” was a driving force in her life. She was so proud of having Utah pioneer ancestors. She became a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers organization and was the Salem Camp Captain for 5 years. She was a very dedicated member and made sure each of her daughters also joined DUP.

Linda was always caring, giving, and loving to so many people throughout her life regardless of her circumstances.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6th from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center Building, 695 South 300 West, Salem, Utah. Interment will be in Lund Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Lund, Nevada on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at noon.
