Lily Jane Sheen, a longtime resident of Salem, passed away at home on April 4, 2025. She was born in Thistle, Utah, to Frank and Lucy Jones of Springville. Lily attended Springville High School.
She was introduced to her sweetheart, Calvin Sheen, on April 11, 1953. They were married in Mapleton on August 19, 1954, and sealed for Time and Eternity in the Manti Temple on June 21, 1957. They shared 54 years together before Calvin’s passing in 2009.
Lily was known for her kind and nurturing nature, deep faith, and creativity. She devoted her life to raising her children and taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Calvin; her children Stephen Leigh, Karen Marie, Mary Jo Allen, and Lori Ann. Lily is survived by her children: Kaleen West (Royce), Gilbert, AZ; Greg, Salem, UT; and Calvin Wade (Kathrine), La Mesa, CA. and Jeff Sheen, Salem, UT She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 6 pm – 8 pm at Walker Funeral Home in Spanish Fork. A visitation will also be held at the Knoll Park LDS Church on Wednesday morning, April 9, 2025, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am before the funeral. The funeral will be held at 11 am on April 9, 2025, at Knoll Park Ward, Chapel 160 South 460 West in Salem, with interment at Salem City Cemetery.
