Leonardo Castro November 7, 1984 - October 5, 2023

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Leonardo Castro Cisneros, affectionately known as Chaparro, on October 5, 2023. Born in the warm heart of Guanajuato, Mexico on November 7, 1984, Leonardo was the embodiment of a true adventurer. He had an infectious charisma that made you want to be part of whatever he was doing. His adventurous spirit was not limited to geographic exploration; he was also a lover of the mechanical realm and was known for his unique ability to fix any car that came his way.

Leonardo was a loving and supportive son to his parents, Martha Perez and Alfredo Gonzalez; their bonds were unbreakable. To him, family was not just an important thing, it was everything. He was a beacon of strength and support for his loved ones, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. Leonardo was a devout Catholic, and his belief in the words of Psalm 23:4, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me,” gave him immense strength during his life journey.

His charisma and adventurous spirit manifested in every aspect of his life, making every moment a memorable one. Leonardo spread love and warmth wherever he went, touching the lives of many. Despite not being married or employed, he was rich in love, kindness, and the ability to appreciate life’s simple pleasures. His life was a testament to the fact that happiness and fulfillment come from love, family, and passion, not material possessions.

In memory of Leonardo Castro, we invite you to share your fondest memories and upload photos of him on his memorial page. It is through these shared moments that we can keep the spirit of his adventure, love, and charisma alive. Let us remember him not for how he left this world, but for how he lived in it, making every day an adventure and every person he met a part of his family. Let us celebrate the life of our beloved Chaparro, who will forever remain in our hearts.
