Our beloved Leola Rae Dalley Hatch, age 96, peacefully passed away on July 18, 2022. She was surrounded by all her family and had personal time with each of them
before she passed on to her Heavenly Father. She was born October 3, 1925 in Minersville, Utah. Her parents were Charles Leland and Zola Carter Dalley.
Leola grew up in southern Utah with her 4 siblings. She met the love of her life, George Houston Hatch, while her family was living in Panguitch, Utah. They were married on her birthday, October 3,1942 in the St George Utah Temple. After their marriage, they attended Agricultural College (now USU) in Logan, Utah. Later they moved to Camp Roberts in California where George was serving in the United States Army Artillery Battalion during World War II.
Returning home from the service, they resided in Salt Lake City and later moved to American Fork, Utah, where they opened their own business, Hatch Jewelry. She worked at the store as a clerk and bookkeeper, while taking loving care of her 3 daughters. After 22 years, they retired and moved to their present home in Salem, overlooking the beautiful Salem Pond.
Leola was always an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in every organization, including 3 times as Relief Society President and 2 times as Primary President. She was also active in civic activities in the PTA and as American Legion Auxiliary Counselor.

They were always together, whether at work or at play. She loved gardening, cross-stitch, embroidery, watching westerns, ceramics, reading, and baking chocolate chips cookies and chocolate dessert. She especially loved being with her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was to serve her loved ones.
